Award of Excellence - U.S. Department of StateDan Dyke accepts Award of Excellence

On October 25, 2007, Geneva Software President Dan Dyke received the award from Assistant Secretary of State Raj Chellaraj on behalf of the company.  He cited his appreciation for the outstanding work by the Geneva Software staff that led to our being selected for the award.   “Geneva Software's staff has every right to feel proud that our customers not only recognize our contributions, but take the time to document them.”

Letter of Appreciation - U.S. Dept of State, Division Chief, IRM Application Programming Division

“Over the course of the past several weeks the eCC development team has dealt with an overwhelming number of helpdesk calls and emails from dozens of posts and many of the 60+ Federal agencies using the new system.  Most of these were handled by Meghan, who responded promptly, consistently and always professional.  The fact that she did so with little technical support available to her and in the face of several increasingly vocal and desperate users is a testament to her professionalism and dedication..”

Certificate of Appreciation - U.S. Department of State CIO, Fernando Burbano

Certificate of Appreciation"To recognize your application of exceptional management, technical and juggling skills in helping to bring the Foreign Service National Pay System projectc to successful implementation."

Letter of Appreciation - U.S. Dept of State, Bureau of Information Resource Management

"As the primary designer, developer and service provider for Web.PASS, Geneva Software has tirelessly advocated for the collaboration of many different agencies and bureaus to move Web.PASS from a "great idea on paper" to true reality.

Geneva Software has been instrumental in the Department of State’s compliance with the President’s Management Agenda initiative for "A ‘Right-Sized’ Overseas Presence".  Web.PASS provides the Department flexibility in aligning the mix of USG agencies and personnel overseas with foreign policy priorities, security concerns, and overall resource constraints."

Excerpt from Nomination for 2007 U.S. Department of State Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year

"Geneva Software has been an exemplary Small Business contractor for the Department since 1990, and it gives me great pleasure to nominate this company for the US Department of State Small Business of the Year Award.  Their in-depth knowledge and experience with multi-agency and overseas information management projects, and their ability to view problems and issues as challenges and opportunities is what makes them a valuable resource.

The IT Facilities, Operations and Maintenance Services Contract for IRM (S-LMAQM-030R-0091) is far-reaching, and is utilized by multiple bureaus and offices within the Department of State including IRM/OPS/SIO/APD, A/EX, RM/ICASS, A/Directives, A/Allowances, and AF/EX.  This year, Geneva Software has performed on budget and on time with all deliveries for the contract.  They consistently find affordable alternative solutions to business requirements even when budgets do not allow for first choice solutions.

Despite significant budget limitations this year, Geneva Software has excelled at providing timely support to customers at posts at all hours of the day and night, ensuring that the customers at post have what they need to get the job done efficiently and affordably.
Additionally, they succeeded in creating a synergy across task orders.  The result is a harmony among the products and a combined impact that is far greater than would have otherwise been realized.  Customer priorities are strictly adhered to in all they do.  And in contrast to a customer-vendor relationship, Geneva Software’s business relationship is more collaborative—and closer to a partnership
Geneva Software’s management has been actively involved in all phases of our projects this year to ensure the retention and training of excellent staff.  The executive management continues their involvement with each and every project which has created an atmosphere of confidence and mutual respect.

This nomination makes clear Geneva Software’s merits to receive the USDoS Small Business of the Year award.  Their impact on such a vast array projects throughout the Department is impressive for any small business; but the magnitude of outstanding results yielded by Geneva Software’s efforts are truly remarkable."
