Giving Back to the Community
One of the founding tenents of Geneva Software is to give back to our community. Life is not neatly compartmentalized into personal and business. Since our inception, Geneva Software has teamed with our employees to support local philanthropic activities.
We have organized book collections for Reading is Fundamental, and for local libraries in Herndon, Chantilly, and Vienna. We've provided supply-loaded backpacks for needy kids at local elementary schools. And every year, during summer months, we collect food to donate to the Washington Capital Area Foodbank. Our efforts are all done in an atmosphere of fun and mock competition. We pit project teams against each other in pursuit of bragging rights of being the most successful tea

Since Fall of 2006, Geneva Software has supported the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through the Light the Night Walk. The Light the Night events are organized throughout the nation and draw thousands of participants, volunteers, and supporters. Geneva is proud to be a part of this amazing cause, and with the help of employees both on and off-site, we passed our fund raising goal through online donations and our week-long bake sale.
Another standard event is the Annual Embry Rucker Golf Tournament in support of Reston Interfaith. Each year, Geneva Software organizes several foursomes for this great event. Employees use their personal time to participate while Geneva Software pays for the greens fees. All fees and contributions benefit Reston Interfaith's programs and services.
Geneva Software will continue to support these charitable community programs for years to come, and we know we can not do it alone. With the support of our employees and their families, we do make a difference.
