CMMI-3 Milestone Achieved

Geneva Software is pleased to announce their appraisal at Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 3.  The CMMI model developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon is the internationally recognized standard for measuring the maturity of an organization’s software engineering processes.  Geneva Software provides software engineering services for private and government clients where CMMI is quickly becoming the benchmark for measuring process maturity.

The satisfactory appraisal was the result of a near two year effort of improving and institutionalizing our processes. Why two years? According to Geneva Software president, Dan Dyke, "We were not interested in merely performing activities that would satisfy the base requirements--our goal was to truly improve our processes in a meaningful way that brings better organization to our company and greater quality to our clients."

Geneva Software is committed to continue practicing and improving sound and efficient processes.
